We are so excited to announce our first community event of the year! Join us on the playground at Redbud from 9-10am on August 5th as we meet new friends and catch up with old ones before we kick off the new school year. We hope this event lets you create lasting relationships and brings our Redbud Community together. *Please note: Child care is not provided, please plan to stay with your child at the playground! The school will not yet be open for bathrooms or water fountains, so please plan accordingly.*

EDMOND PUBLIC SCHOOLS Kinderartent 2024-25 Kindergarten placement will be different from other grade levels. Kindergarten is the only state-mandated grade where teachers do not already have knowledge of incoming students. All EPS kindergarten classrooms will participate in K-Start for the first five days of school. Why? To be more intentional in establishing thriving classroom communities. Balanced classrooms help create a successful kindergarten experience! 🔔 Parents/guardians will need to complete an Annual Update for the 2024-2025 school year by logging into the Parent Portal (not the Campus Parent app). Upon login, scroll down and select “More” in the lower left corner of your portal screen, then select “Online Registration,” then select “Start” on the “2024-2025 Existing Student Annual Update.” You will verify your existing information and make any needed changes. Because of icy and dangerous road conditions, Edmond Public Schools will move to remote learning for all schools for Monday, January 22nd. Students should refer to information sent by their school site for assignments that will need to be completed for attendance to be counted.

November is American Indian Heritage Month and 3rd grade is learning about Oklahoma history. Yesterday we had students from the Indian Education Program share their culture and some of their tribal dances. The students that came to represent their tribes ranged in age from 3rd graders to juniors in highschool and were all students at EPS schools! What as awesome experience for our 3rd graders!

Redbud 5th Graders honored Veterans' at our Friday Redbud Rally by reciting the preamble to our country's Constitution! Following Rally, the whole school participated in a parade cheering for, and thanking Veterans in our very own community!
